West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has strongly refuted the exit poll predictions suggesting a BJP victory in the upcoming assembly elections. Addressing her party workers, Banerjee claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) deliberately instructed pollsters to air the results with the intention of dampening the spirits of TMC activists.
"We are forming the government of Maa, Mati, Manush," Banerjee declared, expressing confidence in her party's ability to secure a win. She emphasized that the exit polls were a strategic move by the BJP to create a sense of defeat among the Trinamool Congress cadre ahead of the official results.
The Chief Minister urged her supporters to remain steadfast and not be swayed by the exit poll data. She reiterated her belief in the public's mandate for the Trinamool Congress, assuring them that the true results would reflect the party's continued governance in the state. Banerjee's remarks highlight the intense political battle and the psychological warfare often associated with election campaigns.
