The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee has issued a stern warning to Chief Minister M.K. Stalin regarding the potential inclusion of rebel AIADMK MLAs into the state government. The Congress party, a key ally of the ruling DMK, expressed concerns that such a decision would be detrimental to the government's image and public perception.
Senior Congress leaders stated that inducting MLAs who were previously part of a rival party, especially those who have a history of political shifts, could be seen as a compromise on ethical governance. They believe it might erode the goodwill the current government has earned from the electorate and send the wrong message about political stability and integrity.
The party emphasized that the government should focus on strengthening its existing team and upholding the mandate given by the people.
