Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated the much-anticipated Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi, a significant spiritual and infrastructural development. This project aims to transform the pilgrimage experience at one of the holiest Shiva temples in India, dedicated to Lord Vishwanath (Lord Shiva).
The Kashi Vishwanath Dham, as it is known, is a sprawling complex designed to connect the temple directly with the sacred River Ganges. This connection facilitates easier access for devotees to take a holy dip and offer water to the deity, a ritual deeply embedded in Hindu tradition.
