Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has asserted that India is already functioning as a Hindu Rashtra. Speaking on the recent consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Bhagwat attributed its construction to the unified efforts of the entire nation, describing it as a symbol of collective will and faith.
Bhagwat further elaborated that the successful building of the grand Ram temple was not the achievement of any single individual or organization, but rather a testament to the power of people coming together for a common cause. He suggested that this collective spirit is reflective of India's deep-rooted cultural and spiritual ethos.
The RSS leader's statements echo sentiments that have been prevalent within certain sections of the Indian society, particularly following the inauguration of the Ram temple.
